i found a 7” single of “palmcorder yajna” at easy street a LONG time ago. last week i played side a over and over and over. i just couldn’t get enough of it. seems incredibly stupid and ironic considering it’s a song about meth-heads.. still, it’s perfect. yesterday i stumbled across a youtube video of ben gibbard covering it, and it was pretty. he brings his special touch to all of his covers, but of course, i prefer the original.
